LHC graphics for “Courage to Act,” now open at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in NYC

In these troubled times, we are especially proud to be associated with uplifting projects like “Courage to Act: Rescue in Denmark,” an exhibit at the @MuseumofJewishHeritage that reminds us that even in the face of stunning brutality some people will rise up and risk everything to protect others. “Courage to Act” tells the story of the Danish people who rescued their Jewish neighbors during the Holocaust. After the Nazis announced an imminent round up of Denmark’s Jewish citizens, the people of Denmark ferried 95% of the Jewish population to neutral Sweden. As a result, most of the 7,200 Jews of Denmark were spared the grim fate of many other European Jews, making this the most successful rescue operation of the Holocaust.

Lizanne Hart Consulting had the honor of creating many of the visual assets that accompany the exhibit. We are grateful to have been a part of the effort to shine a light on this fascinating historical chapter.
